Why Use Reverse Toll Free Number Lookups?

First, I must admit, I hate toll free phone calls. Every time I see a phone call came from 1-800 or 1-877, I hang up the phone right away. But often, I am not at the phone, I see my caller IDs left with toll free phone numbers with no company names. The fact is, you could sue the company made the calls if your phone number is on the National No-Call list.

Here is a question. Are you under the impression that if you receive a call from a toll free number, then you are being contacted by a business of some size? Though that is the most common thought about toll free numbers, but this is far from being true.

The fact is that anyone can get a toll free number. Go to Skype or Vonage,  you have the choice to get a toll free number for a few dollars a month.  An increasing number of people are abusing it, they’re using toll free numbers for their own homes so that their friends and family can contact them without any cost to them, isn’t this deal cool?  This is causing the number of toll free numbers to skyrocket, and is therefore causing the number of toll free numbers appearing on Caller ID devices to increase as well.

If you want to know whether you´re being contacted by a telemarketer or a friend or family member, then you will want to use a reverse toll free lookup service. This type of service is designed to let you use only the toll free number itself as your searching data, so that you can find out the identity and address of the person or business phoning you.

First, go online and find a reputable reverse phone number search site that includes toll free numbers in its directories as reviewed by a good review site such as Phone Reverse Lookup Review.  Then, use these reverse toll free lookups to access the information about the caller. If you´re at your computer when the call is being made, you can even find out who it is before you need to pick up the phone. You´ll never have to speak to another telemarketer if you don´t want to – because you´ll already know who it is when they´re calling.

You´ll also be able to discover if you are being phoned by a company with whom you are already doing business – such as your bank – and whose call you may actually like to receive, or if you are simply receiving yet another phone call from that telemarketer who is determined to sell you something you don´t want.

You can also use reverse toll free lookups to find out who has been calling while you are away at work, and whether it´s worth your while to try to call them back. Unknown callers will no longer be unknown to you.
